Trusted & Recommended Services, Tailored To Suit You & Your Pet
Sue’s Pet Care provides expert and personalised services to support you and your furry friends from our highly-qualified team.
There are many benefits to using a pet sitter, in terms of health, happiness and safety/security for both pets and their owners.
Pets seem much happier when being professionally cared for at home in familiar surroundings. Their owners are happier too, knowing that their animal is safe and happy and they’re not having to rely on friends or neighbours.
Visits to strange surroundings, such as kennels and catteries, can cause some animals to become distressed and nervous. Owners can also become stressed knowing that their pet is unhappy or picking up illnesses and bad habits.
Pets get lots of love and attention from Sue and her team during their visits, which will put you at ease. The whole team is happy to help with any extra services you may need, such as administering pet medicine or providing security for your property. Owner’s can feel at ease knowing that the team are, effectively, house sitting whilst pet sitting! They can move mail, switch on lights, put out bins, water plants and deal with any callers or emergencies.
Sue, Owner & Founder
Hi I’m Sue, Proud owner of 7 cats! The Mad Cat Lady..YES that’s me! After gaining my degree in business studies from Bournemouth University in 1996, I pursued a career in Management Accountancy, only to realise my dream, I wanted to pursue my passion … Animals. All creatures great and small. In 2011, I made my dream a reality and set up Sue’s Pet Care Service! I’ve never looked back!
I have had animals all my life and I’m a keen volunteer for Stray Cats Rescue. I foster cats to give them all of the love and care they need until they find their forever home. Animals are my life.
I enjoy walking and the outdoors as well as travelling. One of my favourite destinations is South Africa. Being so close to lions, elephants, and going on a walking safari, seeing giraffes only feet away makes my heart skip a beat.
I take great pride in knowing that all my staff here at Sue’s Pet Care Services have the same passion and enthusiasm for animals as I do.
Claire, Pet Sitter
I’ve been part of Sue’s dog-walking team for over 4 years now, and I’ve gained a lot of experience and learned so much along the way. Being out in the fresh air with the dogs feels more like a pleasure than work—and it’s a great way to stay fit without ever stepping foot in a gym!
I’ve always had a love for animals, from chickens to bearded dragons, and I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. Now, I have Ruby, my 7-year-old rescue dog, who I wouldn’t be without. Joining Sue’s pet care services was the best decision I ever made, and I’m so happy to be part of such a lovely team.
Julia, Dog Walker
With over 20 years of experience as a nurse, I decided to embark on a new adventure after the pandemic and a knee replacement. My lifelong passion for animals has led me to a fulfilling career in pet care. I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life, and I currently share my home with two wonderful dogs, Mabel and Oakley, along with my two lovely cats.
I truly enjoy dog walking and taking care of all things furry, ensuring they get the exercise and attention they deserve. There’s nothing quite like the joy of being outdoors with dogs, even in the rain! My experience with animals has only deepened my love for them, and I’m dedicated to providing the best care possible for every furry friend I meet.
Erica, Dog Walker
I love working for Sue as part of her dog-walking team. I’ve had dogs for most of my life and currently have a 7-year-old
black Lab called Poppy.
I started training my own dog over 20 years ago, which has now led me to recently become a Qualified Dog Trainer with the Dog Training College. The knowledge I’ve gained makes me even more passionate about dogs and their wellbeing. The training has really helped when looking after or walking dogs for Sue, and I’m always happy to help out with any queries that may arise. When I leave the house each day, my goal is to give the dog I’m with the very best experience possible.
Tracey, Dog Walker
I love working for Sue and have met some fabulous dogs, all with their own individual characters, who you can’t help but
fall in love with.
Sue is great to work for, her care and passion for the pets she looks after is contagious. I have had many pets over the years from dogs and cats to hamster, rabbits, fish, and the odd bird. I currently have my gorgeous little spaniel, Bibi.
Sarah, Dog Walker
I love my job! Aside from dog walking, I run a small artisan business and I am a student counsellor.
I am so grateful to have joined such a wonderful team and I absolutley love what we do. I find it very theraputic and good for the soul! I never see our job as just ‘dog walking’ because it is so much more than that. We go above and beyond for our clients and create a special connection with each and every dog. I feel so fortunate to be part of such an
experienced team.
Gracie (pictured) is our family dog, she is intuitive, loyal and a bit cheeky – I would be lost without her cuddles.
Heather, Dog Walker
I’m a retired nurse with a lifelong love for animals, and after finishing my nursing career, I moved into pet care. I’ve been in this field for a few years now and am delighted to be part of Sue’s lovely team.
As a huge animal lover, I’ve always kept pets and currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats. Along with my kids, they are my world. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me walking my dogs in the fields with friends, local to where I live.
I always care for other people’s pets as if they were my own. I honestly can’t think of a better job—even on rainy days!
Megan, Equine Care & Dog Walker
I’m a qualified veterinary nurse with a genuine love for all animals. I handle equine care, along with dog walking and pet sitting, and I enjoy every minute of it!
I have my own horse, Perdy, who keeps me on my toes, and I’m also the proud owner of two wonderful dogs—a spaniel and a labrador. Being outdoors is my happy place—whether I’m out for a dog walk, caring for horses, or spending time with my own furry companions, I can’t get enough of nature. I’m all about giving pets the love and attention they deserve while having a great time with them!
